It is a matter of immense pride and honor to assume command of BSF Tripura Frontier. I convey my best wishes and a happy 2025 to all Seema Praharis and their families of Tripura Frontier.
Tripura Frontier, established on 1st November 2006 following its bifurcation from the erstwhile Tripura, Cachar & Mizoram (TC&M) Frontier, holds a position of unique and strategic importance. We guard the 856 km-long Indo-Bangladesh border, which is marked by diverse challenges that test the resilience and professionalism of our force. From the rugged hilly terrain in the east to the riverine borders in the south, Tripura presents unique operational challenges which includes the threat from insurgents to transborder criminals.
As we face these challenges, let us remain resolute in our mission and draw inspiration from the BSF’s proud motto: “Jeewan Paryanth Kartavya”.
Together, let us continue to uphold the honor and integrity of our force, ensuring the safety and security of our borders with unwavering dedication.
